Question: What’s everybody’s favorite drink from “Starbucks?”?
Just was wondering. Because I’m pretty bored! Lol, so let me know if you’d like to! Mine is a venti, Mocha Light “Frappuccino” with whipped-cream and hazel-nut, and sometimes cinnamon.

Question: Where does the name “Starbucks” come from?
They sell coffee, have a mermaid for a logo, and call themselves Starbucks. I don’t get it. Insight?

Baldwin, Siegel, and Bowker chose the name Starbucks in honor of Starbuck, the coffee-loving first mate in Herman Melville’s Moby Dick(so company legend has it), and because they thought the name evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders. The new company’s logo, designed by an artist friend, was a two-tailed mermaid encircled by the store’s name.

After several trips to Haiti, we found the perfect partner: Cacgava is a 900 member coffee co-op located in Dondon, a small village in the mountains in northern Haiti. The coffee’s name was derived from the Citadelle Laferrière, the largest fortress in the Americas, next to which Cacgava and its member farms are located.
